-- The original 1936 film was financed by a church group and was intended to be taken seriously
-- Tell Your Children was purchased by exploitation film maker Dwain Esper
-- Esper added sexy footage and changed the name to Reefer Madness
-- Reefer Madness stayed mostly unknown until it hit college campuses in the 1970's
-- The musical version of Reefer Madness was written in 1998 and premiered in L.A.
-- It was then brought to N.Y. where it received it's Off-Broadway debut in 2001
-- Our production is the Denver premier
-- Some crazy words are used as slang for Marijuana in Reefer Madness, some of these weird slang terms include; Bambalacha, Muggles, GiggleStick, Sinsemilla, Jamaican Gold, Bug Leaf and Mooter
